Beautiful large glossy heart-shaped lime green leaves and stems. May go dormant in Winter when grown in cool climates. Closely related to Alocasias and Colocasias, these plants are also known as Elephant Ears. Native to tropical areas of South America.

Outdoor Position: Part Shade in a sheltered location
Indoor Position:    Bright sunny spot near a window

Preferred Soil Type: Moist to wet. We recommend using Superior Potting Mix for Indoor Plants.

Landscape Uses: Shady Garden, Tropical Garden, Courtyard, Container / Pot, Under Trees, Indoor Plant

Ongoing Care: Keep in moist but well-drained soil. Reduce watering in winter. Liquid feed. Mulch. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser.
