Beautiful red/purple foliage with striking red stems. Prefers indoors or shaded positions in the garden. In fact, the shadier the position, the more intense in colour the foliage becomes. Small creamy flowers appear in Autumn through to Winter. Native to tropical areas of North and South America.

Preferred Soil Type: Moist, Well Drained. We recommend using Grow Better Premium Potting Mix if potted.

Ongoing Care: Keep moist during very dry periods. Liquid feed. Mulch. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser.
