Rotheca myricoides
Suckering evergreen shrub with green glossy leaves. Gorgeous pale blue flowers with long stamens that resemble a butterfly bloom in early Summer through to Autumn. Also known as Clerodendrum ugandense, this plant is native to East Africa.

Position: Full Sun / Part Shade
Preferred Soil Type: Loam, Moist but Well Drained. We recommend using Premium Potting Mix if potted.
Landscape Uses: Courtyard, Cottage Garden, Screening, Hedging, Container / Pot, Butterfly Attracting
Ongoing Care: Water more frequently in the warmer months. Clip after flowering to encourage new growth. Annual slow-release fertiliser. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser.
