Rare herbaceous perennial with green mottled foliage. Gorgeous little pink and raspberry flowers on tall stems appear in Spring. Also known as Barrenwort and native to Asia and Europe.

Position: Part Shade / Shade

Preferred Soil Type: Any, Well Drained. We recommend using Grow Better Premium Potting Mix if potted.

Landscape Uses: Low Water Garden, Courtyard, Cottage Garden, Shady Garden, Mass Planting, Ground Cover, Container / Pot, Cut Flowers, Attracts Bees and other Beneficial Pollinators

Ongoing Care: Prune hard after flowering ends. Water only when soil is dry. Drought tolerant once established. Protect from cold dry winds. Watch for snails and slugs. Liquid feed. Mulch. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser.
