Rare herbaceous perennial with deep green leaves heavily shaded in chocolate. Gorgeous little soft pink and white flowers on tall stems appear in Spring. Also known as Barrenwort and native to Asia and Europe.

Position: Part Shade / Shade

Preferred Soil Type: Any, Well Drained. We recommend using Grow Better Premium Potting Mix if potted.

Landscape Uses: Low Water Garden, Courtyard, Cottage Garden, Shady Garden, Mass Planting, Ground Cover, Container / Pot, Cut Flowers, Attracts Bees and other Beneficial Pollinators

Ongoing Care: Prune hard after flowering ends. Water only when soil is dry. Drought tolerant once established. Protect from cold dry winds. Watch for snails and slugs. Liquid feed. Mulch. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser.
