Showy dwarf herbaceous perennial with rich royal purple flowers appearing over Summer / Autumn. Highly fragrant leaves perfect to use in pot pourri. Originally from North America, this plant is a member of the mint family and used as a medicinal plant by the Native Americans.

Preferred Soil Type: Any, Well Drained. We recommend using Grow Better Premium Potting Mix if potted.
Landscape Uses: Fragrant Garden, Courtyard, Cottage Garden, Edible Garden, Borders, Mass Planting, Cut Flowers, Container / Pot, Attracting Butterflies, Bees and other Pollinators.
Ongoing Care: Water regularly, keep moist during very dry periods. Deadhead spent flowers. Prune to the ground after flowering ends. Watch for powdery mildew. Liquid feed. Mulch. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser.
