Juncus effuses
Also known as Corkscrew Rush, this striking evergreen clumper has green twisted long thin leaves. Green and orange flower clumps appear in Summer. A very versatile plant, it thrives in many different conditions.

Outdoor Position: Full Sun / Part Shade
Indoor Position:    Bright sunny spot near a window

Water Zone: 2 (for pond edges or bog areas)

Preferred Soil Type: Any, Well Drained. We recommend using Grow Better Premium Potting Mix if potted. If adding plants to a pond that contains fish, we recommend using garden soil or potting mix with no added fertilisers. Then add a layer of pebbles to keep the soil from washing away.

Landscape Uses: Aquatic Garden, Bog Gardens, Courtyard, Container / Pot / Hanging Basket, Indoor Plant

Ongoing Care: Keep moist, particularly in dry periods.  Liquid feed and mulch if in garden or pot. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser. Fertilisers not generally needed if plant is in a pond that contains live fish.
