Pink Rotala
R. rotundifolia
Gorgeous spreading plant with small oval leaves and pink flower spikes that show from Spring right through until Autumn. Also known as Dwarf Rotala.

Outdoor Position: Part Shade
Indoor Position:    Bright sunny spot near a window

Water Zone: 3 (0-20cm plant depth)

Preferred Soil Type: Well Drained. We recommend using Grow Better Premium Potting Mix if potted. If adding plants to a pond that contains fish, we recommend using garden soil or potting mix with no added fertilisers. Then add a layer of pebbles to keep the soil from washing away.

Landscape Uses: Aquatic Garden, Aquarium, Mass Planting, Courtyard, Container / Pot

Ongoing Care: Keep moist, prefers wet boggy soil. Liquid feed and mulch if in garden or pot. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser. Fertilisers not generally needed if plant is in a pond that contains live fish.
