Cyperus Umbrella Grass
C. alternifolius
Lovely flowering sedge, this grass-like plant has dark green umbrella spoke leaves. Gorgeous little yellow/green flowers show in spring.

Position: Full Sun / Part Shade / Shade

Water Zone: 3 (0-20cm plant depth)

Preferred Soil Type: Clay, Loam. We recommend using Grow Better Premium Potting Mix if potted. If adding plants to a pond that contains fish, we recommend using garden soil or potting mix with no added fertilisers. Then add a layer of pebbles to keep the soil from washing away.

Ongoing Care: Keep moist, particularly in dry periods. Liquid feed and mulch if in garden or pot. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser. Fertilisers not generally needed if plant is in a pond that contains live fish.
